React Missions - Nicaragua

They moved to Elizabethtown, PA in 1996. In 1999 they were part of a mission’s team to Nicaragua to help with recovery efforts at a Children's home after hurricane Mitch, which devastated the country. We fell in love with the people and sensed a strong calling to the country. We traveled there many times in various capacities until 2014 when we established REACT Missions, Rural Evangelism And Christ Transformation. Brian and Lisa were called by God to reach the unreached in the remote communities of Nicaragua, and to facilitate others who have that same desire.
In January 2018, they established a national director in Nicaragua, Carlos Cruz. They have known Carlos since their first trip in 1999 when he was ten years old. They have watched him grow and mature in the Lord over the years. He is married to a beautiful woman named Gabriela and they have 2 children. He and his wife desire to see their countrymen come to know the Lord Jesus Christ.
Brian and Lisa partner alongside several Pastors and Leaders, who are reaching remote areas. They have done water filtration programs and are currently doing a program called “Blessed to be a Blessing”. This program helps establish a Pastor or Leader who is sent to a remote community to minister, taking chickens or pigs to bless a family. That family then with the first fruits of the offspring bless another family and so on down the line. This establishes a trust relationship with the community so that he has freedom to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of the community.
